WARNER ARCHIVE: 6 More Including Two Mrs. Carrolls, Peck Debut

Six more Archive titles have been posted over at WBShop in a small, but potent wave of films.

Humphrey Bogart gets two releases this wave. The first, The Wagons Roll at Night (1941), also stars Sylvia Sidney, Eddie Albert, Joan Leslie and Sig Ruman and was sandwiched in between High Sierra and Bogie's breakthrough The Maltese Falcon. The second, The Two Mrs. Carrolls (1947) co-stars Barbara Stanwyck, Alexis Smith and Nigel Bruce.

Gregory Peck's film debut Days of Glory (1944) also comes out and co-stars Tamara Toumanova and Alan Reed.

The other three aren't slouches either:
  • Confidential Agent (1945) - Charles Boyer, Lauren Bacall, Victor Francen, Wanda Hendrix, George Coulouris, Peter Lorre, Katina Paxinou, Dan Seymour, George Zucco
  • Devotion (1946) - Ida Lupino, Paul Henreid, Olivia de Havilland, Sydney Greenstreet, Arthur Kennedy, Dame Mae Whitty, Nancy Coleman
  • Whiplash (1948) - Dane Clark, Alexis Smith, Zachary Scott, Eve Arden, Jeffrey Lynn
These new DVDs bring the total Warner Archive titles exclusively available for rent at ClassicFlix.com to exactly 620.

All 6 titles can also be found HERE in the Recent Additions section.

They are now available for rent at ClassicFlix, but may be approximately four weeks before they are available for shipment.
