Henstooth Video, a boutique distributor of classic films on DVD, has announced an August 16th release date for Powell and Pressburger's final collaboration: Ill Met by Moonlight (1957), A.K.A. Night Ambush.
Starring Dirk Bogarde, Marius Goring and David Oxley, the single disc DVD will be in the original 1.85:1 aspect ratio and run an uncut 104 minutes (the U.S. version was cut to 93 min.).
It will also have the original theatrical trailer and optional English subtitles.
Retail will be $19.95, but it is available at ClassicFlix.com for only $15.99.
