WARNER ARCHIVE: Lucy, Debbie Reynolds & The FBI

Five new Archive releases have been posted over at WBShop including The Lucille Ball RKO Comedy Collection, Vol. 1. The 2-disc set, timed to coincide with Lucy's 100th birthday (August 6th), contains Go Chase Yourself (1938), Next Time I Marry (1938) and Look Who's Laughing (1941).

Debbie Reynolds also has three, but not in a collection. They are:

• The Catered Affair (1956) - Bette Davis, Ernest Borgnine, Barry Fitzgerald, Rod Taylor
• The Gazebo (1959) - Glenn Ford, Carl Reiner
• It Started With a Kiss (1959) - Glenn Ford, Eva Gabor, Gustavo Rojo, Fred Clark

Also out, and in good follow-up time to Volume 1, is The FBI - Season 1, Part 2.

These new DVDs add to the total of over 700 Warner Archive titles exclusively available for rent at ClassicFlix.com. They are now available to put in your rental queue, but may be approximately four weeks before they are available for shipment.

NOTE: Three titles that were released as standard DVDs in the past, are now being re-released as MODs. This first two, Gaslight and The Unsinkable Molly Brown, have long been out of print. The third, The Singing Nun, curiously is not out of print, but they are releasing it as a MOD anyway. One more point of note, the original release of Gaslight also included the 1940 British version and it looks as if the MOD re-release will not have it included. We have yet to list these on our site, but may as the need arises.
