To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1962 epic, Sony has announced the hi-def release of Lawrence of Arabia with a November 13th street date.
Bonus features are numerous for the 2-disc set, and although some are carry overs from the previous standard release, two new ones are included (details below).
Lawrence of Arabia (Blu-Ray) - 50th Anniversary Edition will retail for $26.99, and will be available at ClassicFlix for only $21.99. However, for three days only (until September 7th) we will have it for the special pre-order price of $17.98.
Winner of 7 Academy Awards including Best Picture, David Lean's splendid biography of the enigmatic T. E. Lawrence paints a complex portrait of the desert-loving Englishman who united Arab tribes in a battle against the Ottoman Turks during World War I.
