**Sony** has announced an October 7th release date for The 7th Voyage of Sinbad - 50th Anniversary Edition (Standard) and The 7th Voyage of Sinbad - 50th Anniversary Edition (Blu-Ray). Each single disc release will come with additional bonus features not found in the 2004 release. The Standard version will also be remastered. Releasing the same day is The Ray Harryhausen Giftset that contains three previously released special editions. Details on all below. It Came From Beneath the Sea (Special Edition) (1955) In Ray Harryhausen's vintage sci-fi thriller, a giant, radioactive octopus makes the deadly mistake of attacking Navy Captain Pete Mathews' (Kenneth Tobey) submarine, prompting the bold commander to pursue the monstrous beast across the Pacific Ocean before it attacks anyone else.
But as the military races to develop a special torpedo that will penetrate the mutated octopus’s brain and destroy it, the eight armed monstrosity suddenly discovers how to survive on land, wreaking havoc first on the Golden Gate Bridge and then in the Embarcadero, sending the terrified citizens of San Francisco running for their lives.

Earth vs. the Flying Saucers (Special Edition) (1956) Aliens are everywhere, and they're attacking planet Earth in one of Ray Harryhausen's most amazing stop motion sci fi classics. 20 Million Miles to Earth (50th Anniversary Edition) (1957) Special effects genius Ray Harryhausen (Jason and the Argonauts, Clash of the Titans) brings you one of his earliest groundbreaking films, now available for the first time in vibrant color! When an American spaceship crash-lands off the coast of Sicily, a rescue team discovers that the crew has brought back a gelatinous mass that soon hatches and evolves into a strange bi-ped creature which increases in size rapidly.
