Previously released in standard definition by Image Entertainment in 2001, and out of print for some time, Frank Capra's Lady for a Day (1933) is streeting on March 20th on both SD and Blu-Ray.

The studio, Inception Media, is a newcomer to the DVD/Blu-Ray market, so what type of transfers are expected remains to be seen. Bonus features are not likely.


May Robson plays Apple Annie in Frank Capra's wonderful and enduring comedy/drama, based on a short story by Damon Runyon, with a hilarious and heartwarming script by Robert Riskin.

When Louise (Jean Parker) announces that she plans to visit her mother to introduce her aristocratic fiancé, Apple Annie's friends, including gangster Dave the Dude (Warren William), Judge Henry D. Blake (Guy Kibbee) and Missouri Martin (Glenda Farrell), rally around to transfor
m her from a poor street peddler into the society matron her daughter is expecting to see.

Little known Hen's Tooth video, who has released such well-received titles such as The Battle of the River Plate (1956) and Ill Met by Moonlight (1957) have two more titles on tap for February:
These are officially licensed releases and both have new transfers from fine grain elements as well as English subtitles. Bonus features are not expected.

Originally scheduled for release on September 15th, The Wolf Man - Special Edition is back on schedule with a February 2nd release date. The newly remastered classic will be a two disc set with all new bonus features on the second disc.

Retail for $26.98, but it's available at ClassicFlix.com for only $19.99.

Also, the only feature missing from the special edition, that is on the single disc edition, are the production notes.
