OLIVE: City That Never Sleeps, Champion & More in April

Five more titles are coming from Olive Films on April 23rd. All will be released on both standard DVD and Blu-Ray. Non bold titles were previously released on DVD, while bold titles are making their DVD and Blu debuts.

They are:

  • Champion (1949) - Kirk Douglas, Marilyn Maxwell, Arthur Kennedy, Ruth Roman, Paul Stewart
  • City That Never Sleeps (1953) - Gig Young, Mala Powers, William Talman, Edward Arnold, Chill Wills
  • Copacabana (1947) - Groucho Marx, Carmen Miranda, Steve Cochran, Andy Russell, Gloria Jean
  • The Fighting Seabees (1944) - John Wayne, Susan Hayward, Dennis O'Keefe, William Frawley, Leonid Kinskey
  • War of the Wildcats (1943) - John Wayne, Martha Scott, Albert Dekker, George 'Gabby' Hayes, Marjorie Rambeau

We mentioned back in February that Olive Films had licensed 27 films from Paramount. Now, Olive has officially announced four titles (above) for release on July 13th.

All four have been mastered from 35mm archive prints and will retail for $24.95 each, but are available at ClassicFlix.com for only $17.99. Bonus features are not expected.
