WARNER ARCHIVE: The Student Prince (1954)

Another exclusive via Warner's Archive line as they have set a July 26th date for the release of The Student Prince (1954) with Ann Blyth, Edmund Purdom and the voice of Mario Lanza.

SYNOPSIS:
Edmund Purdom, with his voice dubbed by Mario Lanza, plays a handsome prince who, at his father's request, seeks to learn about life outside the castle in Heidelberg. He meets and falls in love with an innkeeper's beautiful daughter (Ann Blyth), but the difference in the lovers' status eventually threatens the romance. Based on the operetta by Sigmund Romberg, songs include "Serenade," "Deep in My Heart, Dear," and "Golden Days."
