FOX: Wild River, Titanic, How Green & Gentleman's Agreement on Blu

Less than two weeks ago, we announced two Fox sets exclusive for purchase at FoxConnect, but available for rent here at ClassicFlix. Now, two releases from those sets are coming out as singles on January 15th: Wild River (Blu-Ray) and Gentleman's Agreement (Blu-Ray).

On the same day, How Green Was My Valley (Blu-Ray) is going to be released, as well as Wild River on standard DVD (their first non-MOD or non-Blu release since Stars and Stripes Forever last December).

On January 1st, the previously announced then postponed, Titanic (Blu-Ray) will be streeting. Bonus features vary per release.

Last year, E1 Entertainment released It Takes a Thief - The Complete Series as an 18-disc boxed set. As it was cost-prohibitive, we did not carry it.

Now comes word that they have decided to issue single season sets beginning with It Takes a Thief - Season 1 on October 2nd. We have therefore added it to our selection.

The retail price for the 5-disc set is $39.98, and will be available at ClassicFlix for only $29.99. However, for three days only (until August 9th) we will have it for the special pre-order price of $24.98.

Previously released by Olive in standard definition, The Mountain (1956) and Where Love Has Gone (1964) are now scheduled to bow on Blu-Ray with a February 28th release date.

No, this is not a spoof announcement.

In their first wide-release of new material in two and-a-half years, 20th Century-Fox has announced Stars and Stripes Forever (Blu-Ray / DVD Combo) for release on December 13th.

Fox's classic output has been dormant since May 2009's Man Hunt, as they mainly focused on re-releasing catalog titles on Blu-Ray. No word yet, but hopefully this will be followed up by many releases from their deep catalog.

This 2-disc combo pack contains 1 Blu-Ray disc and 1 Standard DVD. Retail will be $34.99, but it's available at ClassicFlix.com for only $27.99.

Bonus features are below, however it is not clear if they are exclusive to the Blu-Ray or if they are included in both.
