Fox has announced two Sci-Fi favorites for Blu-Ray on October 8th: Fantastic Voyage (Blu-Ray) and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (Blu-Ray).

Both are expected to carry most, if not all the bonus features over from the DVD releases.

FOX: Wild River, Titanic, How Green & Gentleman's Agreement on Blu

Less than two weeks ago, we announced two Fox sets exclusive for purchase at FoxConnect, but available for rent here at ClassicFlix. Now, two releases from those sets are coming out as singles on January 15th: Wild River (Blu-Ray) and Gentleman's Agreement (Blu-Ray).

On the same day, How Green Was My Valley (Blu-Ray) is going to be released, as well as Wild River on standard DVD (their first non-MOD or non-Blu release since Stars and Stripes Forever last December).

On January 1st, the previously announced then postponed, Titanic (Blu-Ray) will be streeting. Bonus features vary per release.

Warner has announced Mrs. Miniver (Blu-Ray) and Grand Hotel (Blu-Ray) for release on January 8th. It is not yet known whether bonus features will carry over from the standard releases.

Forbidden Planet (Blu-Ray) in September

Released in 2006 in the HD-DVD format, Warner has now announced a September 7th release date for the Blu-Ray release of Forbidden Planet.

Still on the calender without a solid date are A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (1945) and Stars and Strips Forever (1952) -- but that can't be said for Man Hunt (1941) as Fox has officially has announced a May 19th release date. The Fritz Lang Thriller stars Walter Pidgeon, Joan Bennett, George Sanders, John Carradine and Roddy McDowall.

It will retail for $14.98, but is available at ClassicFlix.com for only $10.99. Bonus features, including a commentary, are listed below.



Based on the 1939 novel, “Rogue Male,” a British hunter on vacation in the Bavarian Alps, in the forests near Adolf Hitler’s home, gets Hitler in his gun sight, pondering whether or not he should shoot him.
