Bitter Tea of General Yen Arrives on Blu

Sony's debuts the war romance The Bitter Tea of General Yen (1933) on Blu-Ray for the first time via their Columbia Classics line.

The film stars Barbara Stanwyck and Nils Asther. It initially debuted on DVD via TCM Vault's Frank Capra box set in 2012. This is one of several Capra films being transitioned to Blu, with the director's Lost Horizon premiering on the format in October.

Two highly anticipated titles are Time Out for Rhythm (1941) starring Rudy Vallee and Ann Miller and featuring Rosemary Lane, Allen Jenkins and the Three Stooges; and The Heat's On (1943) starring Mae West.

Two A's are Safari (1956) with Victor Mature and Janet Leigh; and And Baby Makes Three (1949) with Robert Young, Barbara Hale, Robert Hutton, Janis Carter and Billie Burke.

Also out is the B drama Among the Missing (1934) with Richard Cromwell.
